My name is Karla Mariscal, I work with adolescents (13+) and adults. I provide compassionate, person‑centered care that honors each individual’s unique experiences, strengths, and goals. I believe therapy should feel supportive, collaborative, and tailored not a one‑size‑fits‑all model. I am bilingual in English and Spanish and offer services in both languages to ensure clients and families can connect in the way that feels most comfortable.

My approach is grounded in trauma‑informed care and blends Solution‑Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). I have worked with middle and high school students who face anxiety, depression, peer and relationship concerns, school stress, life transitions, self‑harm, and suicidal ideation.

I have worked within the Juvenile Justice Center and middle and high schools, supporting youth with diverse and complex needs. My experience includes providing affirming care to LGBTQIA+ adolescents and young adults, as well as working closely with families to strengthen communication, deepen understanding, and build healthier patterns of connection.
